Jason Siu

Jason Siu got his start in the automotive world in the mid-to-late 1990s, building websites for his car club and local shops before he was old enough to drive. By the late 1990s he was shooting and writing for TMRm'zine, importspeed-south.com, and his own projects. In 2004 he began freelancing for Modified Magazine, and after attending that year's SEMA Show, he launched Tunerzine.com.

That December he moved to Southern California to join Modified Magazine as an Editorial Consultant, and in 2006 he became its West Coast Editor while also contributing to Modified Luxury & Exotics and Modified Mustang. He is the author of two CarTech books: How to Rebuild Honda B-Series Engines, and How to Digitally Photograph Cars with Josh Mackey.

Over his career he has written more than 15,000 articles for sites including AutoGuide.com, TheTruthAboutCars.com, EVPulse.com, FlatSixes.com, AVSForum.com, and his other personal project, FullCleared.com. He recently picked up a Sony a7R V to get back behind the camera.
