Lexus has unveiled the 2027 IS Special Appearance Package at the final stop of the four-city IS 25th Legacy Tour in Miami, marking 25 years of the IS nameplate. Built on the IS 350 F SPORT, the package introduces a new green exterior color called Envious paired with 19-inch black BBS forged alloy wheels, while the cabin features black NuLuxe-trimmed seats with Ultrasuede inserts, green stitching, and satin chrome-finished trim. Lexus has offered a new Special Edition or Special Appearance Package for the IS every year since 2022, and the 2027 package continues that run with production limited to 350 units for the North American market.
All 2027 IS models, including the Special Appearance Package, use a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 producing 311 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque, with rear-wheel drive paired to an eight-speed automatic or all-wheel drive paired to a six-speed automatic. The package comes standard with the Handling Package, which includes a sport-tuned Adaptive Variable Suspension, Drive Mode Select with ECO, Normal, Sport S, Sport S+, and Custom modes, and a Torsen limited-slip rear differential on rear-wheel drive models. The Technology Package is also standard, adding Traffic Jam Assist capability, Lane Change Assist, and Front Cross-Traffic Alert.
Additional standard equipment includes F SPORT perforated NuLuxe-trimmed seating with green stitching, Triple Beam LED headlamps, a moonroof, Intuitive Parking Assist, Panoramic View Monitor, a power rear sunshade, Mark Levinson audio, and a Smart Access Key Card. The 2027 Lexus IS Special Appearance Package is scheduled to arrive at dealerships later this year, with pricing and full specifications to be announced at a later date.
