These Terms of Service and Community Guidelines (“Terms”) govern your use of Tunerzine, Tunerzine Garage (garage.tunerzine.com), and the Tunerzine mobile app (together, the “Services”), operated by Bare Minimum Media (“we,” “us”). By creating an account, posting content, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or post content. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Services with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
2. Your Account
You sign in with a third-party identity provider (such as Google). You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Your handle is your public profile URL and may not impersonate another person, brand, or organization. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings; deletion removes your profile, builds, photos, and links from the Services.
3. Your Content
You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions, mod lists, and other content you post (“Your Content”). By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, resize, reproduce, and display Your Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Services. You represent that you have the rights to everything you post — only upload photos you took or have permission to share.
4. Community Guidelines — Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content
Tunerzine Garage is for sharing car builds. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You may not post content that:
- Is hateful, harassing, threatening, or abusive toward any person or group;
- Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise age-inappropriate;
- Depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity;
- Is spam, scams, misleading commercial content, or repeated unwanted promotion;
- Impersonates another person, brand, or organization;
- Contains other people’s personal information without their consent;
- Infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, or other rights.
This applies to every field on the Services — photos, handles, display names, bios, build nicknames, descriptions, mod lists, captions, and links.
5. Moderation, Reporting, and Blocking
Every profile and build has a Report option, and signed-in users can block any user to hide that user’s profile and content from their experience. We review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours — including removing the content and ejecting the user who provided it. We use automated filtering on text fields and may remove any content or suspend or terminate any account, at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if we believe these Terms have been violated.
6. Our Content
Tunerzine articles, photography, branding, and the Services themselves are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Editorial photography may not be reused without permission — see our About page for licensing inquiries.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Vehicle modifications shown on the Services are user-submitted and for entertainment; they are not professional advice, and some may not be street-legal where you live. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, and our total liability for any claim is limited to $50 USD.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
