Subaru of America will debut limited-production, enthusiast-focused editions of the 2027 WRX and 2027 BRZ at Boxerfest 2026 on September 27 at the York Fairgrounds in York, Pennsylvania. The announcement contains no names, specifications, pricing, or production numbers, and Subaru released a single teaser image alongside it showing the rear of a WRX wearing a tS badge and a large rear wing, which points to a variant of the existing WRX tS rather than a new performance tier. The current WRX tS pairs the lineup’s 271 hp, 258 lb-ft turbocharged 2.4-liter flat-four with STI-tuned electronically controlled dampers, Brembo brakes, Recaro seats, and 19-inch wheels.
Subaru used the same event for the same purpose last year, revealing the 2026 WRX Series.Yellow and BRZ Series.Yellow at Boxerfest 2025 on September 14. Both were based on their respective tS trims, offered only with a manual transmission, and limited to 350 units each, with pricing announced later in September.
