Ah the Subaru WRX. AWD and turbocharged…what more could you ask for in a car? Me personally, I’d probably vote two less doors – but for some people the sedan is the way to go. With the release of the WRX, Injen decided that the AWD wonder would be a perfect candidate for a new line of products. Being one of their employee’s daily driver, and equipped with a baby seat in the back – the four door sedan was also the way to go for him as well. Light on mods, the WRX focuses on Injen Technology development and it does a great job at just that.
Popping the hood, all the Injen Technology goodies are right there in front of you. The Injen Technology dress up kit brings out the shine in the little corners of the bay, while their cold air intake system and stainless steel crossover pipe helps power their new Garrett Hybrid turbo upgrade. All the boosted pressure is cooled off thanks to their new Injen Technology front mount intercooler. Injen also developed an up pipe and down pipe combo for the WRX, that expels all the exhaust fumes through an Injen Technology Super SES exhaust system. Additional boost is handled for the Garrett turbo upgrade courtesy of a GReddy Profec B boost controller.
Being a daily driver, the WRX is left tame on the exterior – but is still separated from a stock vehicle off the lot. A GReddy front lip was installed along with Zero Sports carbon fiber risers. The car is lowered on Progress Sport Springs, offering a comfortable ride for the kid in the back. On all four corners are brand new Volk Racing LE28N’s in an 18×8 variety, wrapped with Toyo Proxes giving the Subaru nice grip when the baby isn’t around.
An extremely simple daily driver with plenty of power to boot, this WRX is a great company advertisement. All the Injen products work together like clockwork and brings out the best from that turbocharged AWD power. Even if there is a baby around.
