Meguiar’s Details Monterey Car Week Plans With throtl

Meguiar’s has announced its schedule for Monterey Car Week, with activities spanning The Paddock, Concorso Italiano, Exotics on Broadway, and the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The week opens Friday, August 14, at The Paddock, A Celebration of Automotive Diversity, running from 3 PM to 8 PM at the Bayonet & Black Horse Golf Course in Seaside, California. The same venue hosts Concorso Italiano on Saturday, August 15, from 10 AM to 4 PM, an event Meguiar’s has sponsored for more than two decades, and all Concorso exhibition car owners will receive a Meguiar’s gift bag with cleaning products.

At Exotics on Broadway on August 15, the Meguiar’s booth returns to its spot next to the Main Stage on Del Monte Boulevard from 11 AM to 4 PM, staffed by product experts and showcasing the brand’s newest products alongside its partnership with throtl, the online performance parts supplier and project car builder. Two of throtl’s latest builds will be on display, the throtl team will be at the booth to meet visitors, and a limited edition apparel collection will be available at the event on Saturday or from a throtl pop-up in Carmel on Friday.

The first display car is a 2008 Aston Martin V8 Vantage originally bought with front-end damage by YouTuber B is for Build approximately nine years ago, repaired, and later purchased by throtl. Phase 1 of the rebuild leaned on Meguiar’s products to restore the heavily faded factory headlights and strip years of moss and grime from the exterior, after which throtl added a GT3 body kit, McLaren Orange paint, Nitron coilovers, and Work VS-KF wheels. The recently completed Phase 2 covered dashboard repairs, a full exhaust system, and a new front grille ahead of the car’s 500-mile road trip to Monterey. The second car is a 1995 Ferrari F355 Spider, a six-speed manual example that sat abandoned before throtl’s restoration, now wearing a Liberty Walk widebody kit, custom air suspension, Rotiform wheels, a Fabspeed exhaust, Ferrari Bianco Avus paint, and a custom Tiffany Blue interior. Build videos for both cars are on the throtl YouTube page.

At Pebble Beach, Meguiar’s continues its role as the Official Car Care Sponsor of the Concours d’Elegance, an event it has supported for more than 30 years, sponsoring the livestream and presenting the Preservation Trophy during the awards ceremonies. The brand also supplies products to participants of the Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance and owners of vehicles on the Concept Lawn. New for 2026 is the Meguiar’s Concours Tours program, offering guided walks of the display vehicles on the 18th Fairway; all places were allocated shortly after the tours were announced, and Meguiar’s says it hopes to expand the program for 2027 and beyond.
