Pagani will make its return to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, running July 9 to July 12, where the company will hold the world premiere of the Huayra 70 Derecho. The car is a few-off build from Pagani’s Grandi Complicazioni division and the second of three Huayra 70 cars created to mark founder Horacio Pagani’s 70th birthday.
The Derecho takes its name from the weather phenomenon of the same name, an organized storm system that produces intense straight-line winds. Its exterior wears a two-tone livery in Pearl Orange and Inky Blue, applied to show the fish-bone weave of the exposed carbon fiber underneath. The Inky Blue, which Pagani describes as fully transparent, covers the lower sections of the body and the interior monocoque, while the Pearl Orange defines the main body and shifts toward gold tones in direct sunlight. Bespoke solid-milled aluminum components integrated into the bodywork are anodized in a Glossy Titanium finish, which is repeated on a new set of Huayra 70 Titanium wheels created for the car.

Inside, the cabin combines Ceramic White leather with Tricolore Blue leather joined by contrast stitching, and the exterior color scheme carries over in specific details: the 12 o’clock stripe on the steering wheel and the gear knob are both painted in Pearl Orange. Pagani did not release any mechanical specifications, production timing or pricing for the Derecho alongside the announcement.
The Derecho will anchor a Pagani stand that also displays a Zonda F Roadster and a Utopia Roadster for the duration of the event. On the hill itself, Pagani will run two cars throughout the festival: the Huayra Codalunga Speedster and the track-only Huayra R fitted with the optional Tempesta package.
