Nissan’s truck and SUV side of its SEMA display covers three concepts: a twin-turbo Frontier, a retro-liveried Pathfinder, and an open-top Armada. They join the Sentra Spec-V and Z builds at Booth 21521 in Central Hall from November 3 to 6. All three are concepts not offered for sale, though Nissan says some of the NISMO and Nissan accessory parts featured on them could eventually reach dealers. The announcement also references an all-new Xterra as part of the brand’s future truck and SUV lineup.
The Frontier RONIN concept adds twin turbos to the 3.8-liter VQ38DD using a rear-mounted R35 GT-R NISMO twin-turbo system, a custom front-mount intercooler, dual off-road air intakes, and ECUTEK engine management with a Visconti Tuning adapter harness. A NISMO Off Road exhaust uses 3-inch cutouts. Nissan has not announced an output figure.

The suspension uses modified TITAN components and a rear axle swap, along with CJD Racing long-travel hardware that adds four inches of lift, 12 inches of width, and 14 inches of suspension travel. The setup includes fabricated upper and lower control arms and spindles, extended 300M axles, 12-inch extended shackles with progressive leaf spring packs, and Bilstein Black Hawk M 9400 four-way adjustable coilovers.
Braking comes from six-piston front calipers on 335 mm floating two-piece rotors, with 286 mm rotors at the rear. Prototype 17×9-inch NISMO ASCEND beadlock wheels wear 35×12.50R17 Yokohama Geolandar X-AT tires.

The body is finished in Baltic Teal with bronze and black topographic graphics, along with a custom fascia and grille, high-clearance front and rear bumpers, a skid plate, prototype NISMO Off Road fender flares, rock sliders, a roof rack, and a spare tire carrier. Lighting includes 6-inch NISMO Off Road driving lights and 4-inch A-pillar lights. Inside are custom KINETIC bucket seats, topographic-print seat belts, and a triple gauge pod for boost, oil pressure, and exhaust temperature.
The Pathfinder XE-V6 concept celebrates the model’s 40th anniversary with a nod to the first-generation WD21. Its retro XE-V6 badging references the original Pathfinder’s available 3.0-liter V6, while the red paint and black, charcoal, and silver stripes take inspiration from 1980s Patrol graphics.

The concept starts with a Pathfinder Rock Creek and retains its 295-hp, 270-lb-ft V6, adding a prototype NISMO cat-back exhaust. A custom four-inch lift uses a cradle spacer, while prototype 18×9-inch NISMO AX-5 wheels are wrapped in 285/75R18 Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 tires.
Custom high-clearance front and rear bumpers add recovery points and an integrated hitch, while rock rails, skid plates, and underbody protection cover the lower body. A custom roof rack carries four 6-inch NISMO Off Road lights, with another pair mounted to the front bumper and 4-inch lights on the A-pillars. The Pathfinder also gets a rear swing-out carrier for a full-size spare, MOLLE panels, a NISMO rooftop storage case, a 45-quart NISMO ice box, a RotoPax canister, and a WARN M800S winch.

The Armada Jungle Patrol concept looks back to Nissan’s Patrol expedition history. The roof has been removed and replaced by a tubular roll cage over inward-facing bench seats with harnesses, giving the full-size SUV a safari-style layout.
Its VR35 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 retains the production Armada’s 425 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, with a prototype NISMO cat-back exhaust added. The chassis gets a widened track with CJD long-travel suspension and custom adjustable coilovers with remote reservoirs and bypass damping.

Prototype 18-inch NISMO AXIS beadlock wheels wear 37×12.50R18 Yokohama Geolandar G003 M/T tires. The exterior adds custom tubular steel bumpers, custom fender flares, NISMO Off Road rock sliders, and roof-mounted 6-inch NISMO Off Road lights beneath a jungle-themed livery.
