Nissan will bring three concept builds to the SEMA Show on November 3 to 6, a revived Sentra Spec-V, an SCCA Touring 2 Z race car built by employees, and a Datsun S30 restomod by Chris Forsberg, with the Z Kaze open-top concept from ZCON joining them at Booth 21521 in Central Hall. All three are concept vehicles not offered for sale, though Nissan says some of the NISMO and Nissan accessory parts on them may be available through dealers, and truck and SUV concepts for the show will be announced separately.
The Sentra Spec-V concept marks 35 years since the Sentra SE-R reached North America and uses the current Sentra’s MR20DD, turbocharged with a Garrett G25-550 and front-mount intercooler, Carrillo rods, JE pistons at 10:1 compression, ARP studs, and supplemental port injection through a Jim Wolf Technology manifold spacer with 550cc Bosch EV14 injectors, for 300 hp at the wheels per Nissan’s build sheet. The six-speed manual is the RS6F94R from the Juke NISMO RS with its helical limited-slip differential, paired with a Centerforce flywheel and FX350 clutch and a modified Hybrid Racing short shifter. Suspension is a track version of the production NISMO Sentra coilover with external-reservoir front dampers and NISMO sway bars, and the brakes are the R35 GT-R NISMO’s Brembo setup with six-piston front calipers on 390 mm (15.35-inch) rotors and four-piston rears on 380 mm (15.0-inch) rotors. The car sits on 19×9.5-inch NISMO LM-RS1 forged wheels with 265/35R19 Yokohama ADVAN NEOVA AD09 tires under a BOMEX widebody kit, with a vented hood, side-exit exhaust, a GT-R NISMO rear spoiler, and a Terminax wrap, and the interior gets the GT-R NISMO’s Recaro seats, a NISMO steering wheel, and a harness bar.

Project NAT2 is a Nissan Z built to SCCA Touring 2 rules by the Nissan Acceleration Team, a volunteer group of Nissan employees who race on their own time. The VR30DDTT runs 38 mm turbo inlet restrictors for class legality, a NISMO intake and GT4-spec single-exit stainless steel exhaust, a Z1 Motorsports tune and fuel system, and NISMO and Z1 cooling upgrades, with NISMO coilovers, a Z1 six-piston front big brake kit on 380 mm rotors, stock rear brakes as the class requires, and NISMO GT4 RAYS 18×11-inch forged wheels on 275/35ZR18 Maxxis RC-1 tires. The stripped interior carries a Huffmaster Motorsports cage, Sabelt seat, harness, and nets, a Lifeline fire system, and AiM data logging, under a NISMO Design Japan livery referencing historic Nissan race cars.
Forsberg’s Datsun S30 concept puts the current Z’s VR30DDTT and FS6 six-speed manual into the original Z body, with Garrett PMAX turbochargers, NISMO intakes, heat exchanger, and twin-disc clutch, a NISMO R200 limited-slip differential, and a Radium Engineering fuel cell. The chassis uses Techno Toy Tuning’s Evolved billet suspension package, coilovers, crossmember, control arms, steering rack, and sway bars, with a Wilwood brake conversion running six-piston front calipers on 300 mm rotors and four-piston rears on 280 mm rotors, and 17×9-inch NISMO LM-RS6 forged wheels on 245/40R17 tires. The front fenders, hood, air dam, bumpers, hatch, and spoiler are carbon fiber, the paint is Nissan Seiran Blue with a NISMO 40th decal set, and the interior has OMP Silverstone seats, a Grip Royal steering wheel, Speed Hut gauges, and a Techno Toy Tuning harness bar.
