If you’re like me, the story of every car you’ve owned is scattered across half the internet. The build thread is on a forum that may or may not still exist, the good photos are buried 10 to 20 years deep in an external hard drive, and the mod list lives in a signature on another forum. Today we’re launching something to fix that. Tunerzine Garage is our new free community platform where your builds finally get one permanent home.
The idea is simple: every enthusiast gets their own garage page on garage.tunerzine.com, where you can post your cars, your photos, and your full mod lists, then share the whole thing with one clean link. Think of it as a business card for your car. Your garage lives at garage.tunerzine.com/yourname, and each build gets its own URL, like garage.tunerzine.com/yourname/2005-scion-tc. It’s built and run by us, it lives on the tunerzine.com sites, and it carries the same look and feel as our content.
Adding your cars takes minutes. The vehicle picker covers roughly 70 major automakers with over 30,000 year, make, and model combinations going back to 1950. Photos work like our article galleries, with drag-and-drop upload, drag to reorder, and a crop tool so your car is framed exactly how you want for the cover. To add your mod list, paste it straight out of your notes app or forum signature, one mod per line, and it renders as a clean spec sheet on the build page. There’s an About This Build section for the history, links for your Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and the rest, and a QR code for your garage you can save and print on a card for meets, so people can scan it and see the full build.
Browsing works the way you’d expect: filter by make, model, and year range, sort by newest, oldest, or most popular, and search profiles. The entire social layer is a heart on builds. That’s it, and that’s on purpose. There are no comments, no DMs, no followers, no notifications, and no ads, because the point is showing off the build, not farming engagement.
We built the Garage to store as close to nothing about you as possible. You sign in with Google, but we never store your email, your name, or your account photo. The only things kept are an anonymous account ID, your chosen handle, an uploaded avatar, and whatever you choose to post. There are no passwords at all, so there’s no password to leak. If you ever want out, one button deletes your account and actually erases everything, photos included. The login page spells all of this out in plain language before you sign up.
