Hennessey Special Vehicles will debut the Venom F5-M at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, running July 9 to July 12, where the open-top hypercar will run the hill twice daily with racer Alex Brundle driving. The F5-M pairs Hennessey’s 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged Fury V8, producing 2,031 bhp, with a six-speed gated manual transmission, which the company says makes it the most powerful manual road car in the world. Production is limited to 12 units globally, priced from $2.65 million before taxes.
The F5-M incorporates the Venom F5 Evolution updates, including a new carbon fiber tub, new bodywork, revised aerodynamics and active suspension that adapts by drive mode. Power goes to the rear wheels, managed by traction control and engine management systems calibrated for the manual drivetrain. The most visible change is a 55-inch dorsal fin running from the roof-mounted air intake to the trailing edge of the rear deck, which Hennessey says aids stability beyond 200 mph. An integrated roof scoop feeds cool air to the engine bay, with airflow around its sides channeled rearward by the fin.

The cockpit is reworked around the manual gearbox, centered on a billet aluminum shifter running through a precision-milled six-speed gate with a short-throw action. The first production car, bound for a UK customer and shown at Goodwood, wears exposed purple carbon with anodized gold accents and was personalized through Hennessey’s Maverick division, including a 24-karat gold nose badge, the family name “Sheikh” on the rear of the car and stitched into the knee pads, and hand-painted American and British flags in gold on either side of the fin’s trailing edge. The remaining cars are allocated to buyers worldwide, led by owners in the United States.
Following the F5-M’s launch, Hennessey will offer both the manual transmission and the updated chassis architecture across the rest of the F5 range, allowing Coupe, Roadster and track-focused Revolution variants to be specified with the six-speed manual. The company has delivered more than 40 Venom F5 hypercars to date.
