Cadillac has revealed the V-ONE, a single-seat concept built on the foundations of the V-Series.R race car and the first of its kind for the brand. The concept was co-developed by Cadillac Design, Cadillac Racing, and chassis constructor Dallara, and it explores how the company’s LMDh competition hardware can be translated into a customer-focused, driver-oriented machine.
Power comes from a hybrid V8 drivetrain producing 830 combined horsepower, sharing its foundations with the V-Series.R. The shared architecture extends to the suspension, transmission, and select electronics, with the concept running double wishbone suspension with pushrod-actuated coil and torsion spring elements plus lateral and heave dampers at both ends. The aerodynamic package is likewise modeled on the race car, and Cadillac says the V-ONE is intended to be easier to operate than the prototype while maintaining a similar level of performance, aided by a race-inspired interface that provides drivers with feedback and coaching.
The exterior carries the body and proportions of the V-Series.R directly, paired with a new V-Series wheel design, dark-finish V-Series badging, and a hand-sprayed paint gradient running from silver to deep navy, referencing the transition from day to night during an endurance race. Inside, the single-seat cockpit combines exposed carbon fiber structure, a custom interface, a steering wheel developed by racing engineers with a button layout tailored for customers, recycled fabrics from the Cadillac Collection, a serialized plaque on the door, and a seat built to the driver’s specifications.
Cadillac cites the V-Series.R’s competition record as the basis for the concept, including 10 wins, 16 pole positions, and 32 podiums across the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and FIA World Endurance Championship since 2023, along with the 2023 IMSA manufacturer, team, and driver titles, the 2025 Le Mans Hyperpole, and the brand’s first 1-2 finish in the FIA WEC at São Paulo. The V-ONE will be on display at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering in Carmel, California on August 14, 2026.
