Lamborghini Reveals 1,050-HP Revuelto SV at The Quail

Lamborghini has revealed the Revuelto SV at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, a limited-production Super Veloce variant of its V12 hybrid flagship. Production is capped at 1,963 units, a reference to the year the company was founded, and Lamborghini calls it the most powerful and fastest production car it has ever built at Sant’Agata Bolognese.

The powertrain pairs the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12, producing 814 hp (825 CV) at 9,250 rpm with a 9,500-rpm rev limit, with three electric motors: two axial flux units on the front axle and a radial flux motor positioned above the transversely mounted eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. A newly developed 7.3-kWh lithium-ion battery with a maximum output of 255 hp (190 kW) raises total system output to 1,050 hp (1,065 CV), an increase of 50 CV over the standard Revuelto, with the entire gain coming from the electric side. System torque is 1,051 lb-ft (1,425 Nm), and Lamborghini says the new battery delivers up to four times greater performance consistency under track use than the Revuelto’s unit.

Performance figures include 0-62 mph in 2.4 seconds, 0-124 mph in 6.7 seconds, and a top speed exceeding 214 mph, with a weight-to-power ratio of roughly 3.7 pounds per horsepower (1.66 kg/CV). Ahead of the reveal, factory driver Marco Mapelli lapped the Hockenheimring in 1:41.6, which Lamborghini says makes the Revuelto SV the fastest production car ever recorded at the German circuit.

The aerodynamic package generates 80 percent more total downforce than the Revuelto, 10 percent more than the Aventador SVJ, and improves downforce-to-drag efficiency by 60 percent over the standard car. The changes include a reworked front splitter and underbody, an angled fin on the front bumper that seals the wheel wells and feeds the side coolers, a forward-shifted aerodynamic balance, and a 12 percent improvement in brake cooling. The fixed rear wing uses a double-wing design at its outer ends with a low-inclination center section, a Gurney flap at the rear hood improves downforce and radiator outlet suction, and a new cooling channel ventilates the rear brakes.

Suspension changes center on manually adjustable passive dampers derived from Lamborghini’s GT3 racing program, which the company says deliver 17 percent more agility and 10 percent more lateral grip than the Revuelto. Lamborghini will provide customers with suggested damper setups for flat, bumpy, or wet circuits based on its development work.

Braking is handled by new CCM-R Plus carbon ceramic discs measuring 16.5 inches (420 mm) front and 16.1 inches (410 mm) rear, which shorten 124-0 mph stops to 361 feet (110 meters) and improve peak deceleration by 11 percent and heat dissipation by 23 percent while running 12 percent cooler than the Revuelto’s discs. A new Integrated Brake Control system uses a 6D inertial sensor mounted near the center of gravity, feeding a predictive vehicle estimator that Lamborghini says cuts stopping distances by up to 10 percent and improves control during combined braking and cornering or over curbs.

The Revuelto SV also introduces a new Pilota driving mode alongside the existing Strada, Sport, and Corsa settings, activated by a dedicated red rotary knob on the steering wheel. The mode unlocks a five-stage traction control system derived from the company’s GT3 program, tuned to adapt to track conditions and tire wear.

The car debuts Lamborghini’s Monolocker center-lock wheel system, a first for a series-production Lamborghini, on new forged 3D-Superlight Dromos wheels measuring 20 inches front and 21 inches rear with hexagonal spokes. Bridgestone developed a bespoke tire lineup, including the new street-legal Potenza Race R semi-slick, the Potenza Sport with optional Run Flat Technology for road use, and a Blizzak LM005 winter tire for the aftermarket, all carrying the Lamborghini logo.

Inside, carbon-shell Sport Seats are standard, with optional carbon fiber monocoque Race Seats, and new matte carbon fiber door panels are standard equipment. The Revuelto SV offers up to 25 exterior components in exposed carbon fiber, four SV logo configurations, four dedicated liveries through options and Ad Personam, 12 color choices for the brake calipers and centerlocks, and a Corsa-Tex by Dinamica interior in Nero Cosmus. Pricing and delivery timing have not been announced.
