Genesis has announced U.S. pricing for the 2027 GV60 Magma, the brand’s first high-performance model, at an MSRP of $69,950 plus a $1,545 destination charge, bringing the starting figure to $71,495. MSRP excludes tax, title, license, and dealer fees. The GV60 Magma is the first production Genesis vehicle to carry the Magma badge.
The dual-motor all-wheel-drive system pairs an 84 kWh battery with a 166 kW front motor and a 282 kW rear motor for a combined 448 kW, rated at roughly 600 hp and 546 lb-ft in standard configuration. Boost Mode raises peak output to 641 hp and 583 lb-ft. An electronic limited slip differential and High-Performance Battery Control are standard, along with a set of Magma-specific drive systems: Virtual Gear Shift, which simulates gear changes using virtual rpm and coordinated sound; GT Mode; SPRINT Mode; Launch Control; Boost Mode; and Drift Mode, which can run simultaneously with Virtual Gear Shift and the virtual sound system. Genesis also fits e-Active Sound Design Plus, which pipes simulated engine sound through external speakers at the front and rear, with Magma-exclusive audio the company says is inspired by Goodwood Festival recordings.

Magma-specific aerodynamic work includes canards on the front bumper, garnishes and breathers on the fenders, and a winglet-style rear spoiler, over a wider and lower stance than the standard GV60. Exclusive 21-inch matte-finish forged wheels are wrapped in wider tires. Four exterior colors are offered: Magma Orange, Uyuni White, Vik Black, and Makalu Gray Matte. Inside are Genesis’s first performance bucket seats, heated and ventilated and finished in suede Obsidian Black with Magma Orange stitching, plus dedicated Boost and Magma Mode buttons on the steering wheel, Magma-exclusive alloy pedals and gauge cluster, a 27-inch integrated OLED display, and a Bang & Olufsen audio system.
Genesis expects the GV60 Magma to reach select retailers in California, New York, and New Jersey in the coming weeks. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N shares the same 641 hp peak figure and starts at $59,900 before destination for the 2026 model year following a recent price reduction.
