Porsche Cars North America has announced its 2027 Porsche Track Experience schedule, adding two courses at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama, that run exclusively in the 911 GT3. The pair marks the first time a PTX program has been built around a single model, and both are offered only at Barber. The existing curriculum continues at Barber and at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California, which opened as the program’s second North American location this year.

GT Drift is a half-day car control course priced at $1,500 per participant. It opens with a short classroom session on vehicle dynamics before moving to the skid pad, then progresses through trail braking exercises, rotation practice, and drifting skills, all in the 911 GT3. Masters GT is a three-day advanced program priced at $23,000 per participant and offered by invitation only to graduates of the Masters RS course. The first day runs at the Barber Proving Grounds on advanced vehicle control, and days two and three move to the racetrack, alternating open lapping sessions with data review and individual coaching. Porsche positions Masters GT as the highest level of instruction in the PTX lineup.

The rest of the 2027 schedule carries over at both tracks. The one-day Precision course is $2,500 at Barber and $3,600 at Laguna Seca, the two-day Performance course is $5,000 and $6,700, the three-day Masters course is $6,600 and $9,200, and the three-day Masters RS course is $10,600 and $14,300. Depending on the course, participants drive the 718 Cayman GTS 4.0, 718 Boxster GTS 4.0, 911 Carrera GTS, or 911 GT3. Barber has hosted Porsche’s North American driving school since it launched as the Porsche Sport Driving School in 2003, and 2027 is Laguna Seca’s second full season.
