Honda Racing Corporation USA will show a dozen racing machines and concepts at the SEMA Show from November 3 to 6 at Booth 24789 in Central Hall, headed by the North American debut of the Civic Type R HRC Concept and the public debut of the Honda Passport Baja Spec hybrid Trophy Truck. The Type R HRC Concept was first shown at the 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon as an HRC-developed version of the current Civic Type R, and Honda confirmed with the SEMA announcement that the model is in development for the U.S. market. No timing or specifications were given.
The Passport Baja Spec is HRC US’s entry into SCORE desert racing and will be the first hybrid Trophy Truck in the SCORE World Desert Championship, with two-time Baja 1000 winner Bryce Menzies driving in partnership with Menzies Motorsports. The truck pairs a 2.4-liter twin-turbo V6 derived from the Acura ARX-06 GTP engine with an 800-volt hybrid system and battery built in-house at HRC US in Santa Clarita, for a combined output HRC puts at more than 1,300 hp, on a Mason Motorsports all-wheel-drive chassis. Its competition debut is the 2027 Baja 500 from June 2 to 6, with an overall Baja 1000 victory as the target.

It will be joined at SEMA by one of three 2027 Passport TrailSport Baja Chase support vehicles HRC built for the program, fitted with a Borla exhaust, HRC dampers, HRC forged wheels by Titan 7, an auxiliary power system, a trunk drawer system, and a platform roof rack. Hasport Performance’s Prelude Club Racer is also new, a time attack build with the Civic Type R’s turbocharged 2.0-liter and six-speed manual, a custom Borla exhaust, suspension from the Integra Type S TCX race car, and a livery based on the Hasport Prelude Circuit Monster.
The race car display covers the 2026 Aston Martin Aramco AMR26 Formula 1 car with Honda’s RA626H 1.6-liter turbo V6 hybrid power unit, marking the first year of the Honda works partnership with Aston Martin; Felix Rosenqvist’s 2026 Indianapolis 500-winning Honda IndyCar, from a season in which Honda took the manufacturers’ title and, by HRC’s count, the drivers’ championship, Rookie of the Year, and the 500; the Acura ARX-06 GTP in the “Thank You” livery it ran at Petit Le Mans as Acura pauses its GTP program after 2026, with 14 championships, 33 wins, 43 poles, and three Rolex 24 wins over the program’s run; and the No. 5 KMW Motorsports Coral Springs Honda Civic Type R TCR of Rocco Pasquarella and Tim Lewis, which won at Watkins Glen on the way to Honda finishing second in the 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge TCR manufacturers’ standings.

Two cars from the HRC Heritage Racing Program are offered for sale: the 2009 Acura ARX-02a Patrón LMP1 car, driven by David Brabham, Scott Sharp, and Dario Franchitti in a season that delivered the American Le Mans Series LMP1 drivers’ and manufacturers’ titles, and the restored 2017 Acura NSX GT3 No. 93 in its Lady Liberty livery, chassis No. 5, with 38 class wins and 11 championships across IMSA and SRO from 2017 to 2023. Rounding out the cars is the 1969 Honda N600 that ran the 1970 Baja 1000 as the first car raced by American Honda, and the bikes are Hunter Lawrence’s 2026 CRF450RWE, which won this year’s AMA Pro Motocross 450 title, and Jett Lawrence’s 2025 championship-winning CRF450RWE, with Jett finishing two points behind his brother this season.
HRC US will also launch its first HRC Performance Parts line at the show, starting with forged wheels, exhaust systems, and a short-throw shifter for models including the Civic Type R, Integra Type S, and Passport TrailSport, with sales through Honda and Acura dealers and the Honda DreamShop beginning in March 2027 after final durability testing that includes Nürburgring evaluation. Prototype coilovers with camber plates and a six-piston Brembo brake kit will be shown as future additions.

HRC merchandise will be sold at the booth for the first time, including display-cased internal components from the RA100E V10, Honda’s last V10 F1 engine, taken from Gerhard Berger’s McLaren MP4/5B at the 1990 German Grand Prix; a jewelry collection made from the engine’s smaller parts with B.L.S. Co. of Kofu, Japan; and 1:18 Amalgam Collection models of RA272 chassis No. 103, which won Honda’s first F1 race at the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix. HRC Formula R, the first HRC consumer engine oil, developed with Phillips 66 Lubricants and now sold through Honda and Acura dealers, will also be on display.
