Curated, the Miami-based specialist in historically significant collector automobiles, has acquired Touring, a manufacturer that builds bespoke all-terrain vehicles on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class platform. The acquisition is effective immediately, founder Ryan Webb will continue to lead the Touring brand, and financial terms were not disclosed.
Touring, formerly known as Touring Design, builds each vehicle to order, with clients specifying the drivetrain, interior, and finish. The company also handles travel logistics for its owners, covering shipping, routing, and on-the-ground support for those who want to use their vehicles abroad, and it will continue building on the G-Class platform under the new ownership.
Founded in 2015 by John Temerian and Jordi Ricart, Curated specializes in low-production European collector cars built from the 1970s through the early 2000s. The company says the acquisition follows demand from its own clients, a pattern it has seen across its rally and event programs, and Touring builds will now be available to commission directly through Curated, with completed vehicles shown at future events and select automotive exhibitions.
