Bugatti has handed over the one-off Brouillard to its owner at Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille 2026, where the first creation from the brand’s Programme Solitaire also earned a Best of Show award. The handover took place during a private celebration at the Château de Chantilly in France with the owner’s family, friends, and members of the Bugatti team in attendance.
The Brouillard made its public appearance later in the weekend as part of the Concept Class at the Concours d’Élégance, presented by Bugatti Rimac CEO Mate Rimac and Bugatti president Christophe Piochon. It also led the Bugatti Parade before winning Best of Show Concept-cars, Restomods & One-offs, with the owner subsequently driving the car around Le Nôtre’s Water Mirrors.
Bugatti also brought several other modern cars to Chantilly, including the Veyron La Maison Pur Sang 20 Years, W16 Mistral Sur Mesure “Le Retour du Jeune Prince,” W16 Mistral World Record Car, and Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car. Three Veyron models and the Chiron Profilée also participated in a rally on roads surrounding Chantilly during the weekend.
Several pre-war Bugattis joined the display, including examples of the Type 39, Type 35, Type 35 A, Type 51, Type 13 Brescia, Type 37, Type 37 A, and Type 40 Grand Sport. A 1925 Type 35 won the separate Bugatti: Race Cars class during the event, which brought together more than 700 collector cars at the Château de Chantilly.
