Nissan has announced pricing for the 2027 Z, which reaches dealerships this summer with a six-speed manual transmission option for the Z NISMO, GT-R-derived brakes for the NISMO, and a heritage-inspired refresh for the Sport and Performance grades. The Z Sport starts at $44,480, the Z Performance at $54,480, and the Z NISMO at $67,260, with no price difference between the six-speed manual and nine-speed automatic on any grade. Destination and handling adds $1,245.
The Z NISMO’s new six-speed manual pairs a short shifter with an upgraded clutch, and Nissan says the option was added in response to popular demand. All 2027 Z NISMO models also receive two-piece iron-aluminum brake rotors derived from the Nissan GT-R, saving 19 pounds of unsprung weight while increasing thermal capacity. The rotors feature enhanced cooling channels that keep temperatures lower during track use.
The refresh for the Sport and Performance grades pulls design elements from classic Nissan sports cars, including a body-color bar in the grille opening on both grades and a Z emblem replacing the Nissan logo on the nose across the full lineup. The Z Performance adds new forged 19-inch wheels with black spokes and a machined-finish rim, along with larger-diameter shock absorbers for improved stability and damping. A new Shinkai Green Pearl Metallic paint option, inspired by the green of the original S30-generation Z, joins the color palette, and a tan interior is newly available on the Performance trim. All 2027 Z models also get a redesigned fuel tank that helps maintain fuel delivery during sustained high-lateral-force cornering.
The 2027 Nissan Z goes on sale at U.S. dealerships this summer.
