Maxxis Tires and Konig Wheels teamed up put together this S14 from Batlground Engineering in just 20 days in time for the SEMA show. Face lifted and freshly painted and basically rebuilt from scratch, this S14 is a great testament to what can be done when the clock’s tickin!
Michelin’s booth once again impressed everyone on the show floor. Their fleet of high end race cars along with Porsches and Audis made everyone stop dead in their tracks. Not to mention the Michelin man was out and about, who could complain?
Tanabe teamed up with High End Performance to bring out this one of a kind G37. Its widebody setup and custom body kit really made us look twice. We can’t wait to see what other G37s are going to be out there!

For those that don’t know the two gentlemen in this photo, that is Michael Meyers of NOPI fame and Gary Darcy of NHRA. Today the announcement was made for NHRA’s relationship to sanction NOPI Drag Racing events in 2008. In short, the NHRA Sport Compact series will not exist in 2008, instead they will be sanctioning and taking care of the drag racing aspect of the NOPI Drag Racing events. What does that mean for us the enthusiasts and for the racers? Only time will tell.!
That’s it for today, check back as we continue with our best coverage of SEMA yet!
