ABT RS3 630 Debuts as Second Anniversary Special

ABT Sportsline has revealed the RS3 630, the second of three special-edition models marking the German tuner’s 130th anniversary, following the RS6-LE 800. Based on the Audi RS3, the package is limited to 30 units worldwide, with sales scheduled to begin in July 2026.

The centerpiece is the ABT POWER R performance upgrade, which raises the turbocharged five-cylinder to approximately 621 hp (463 kW / 630 PS) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm). The gains come from an upgraded turbocharger and intercooler along with what ABT calls its IWI system, or Indirect Water/Ethanol Injection, which sprays a water and ethanol mixture ahead of the throttle valves, metered by a dedicated control unit based on load and rpm. ABT says the cooling effect lets the engine hold full output under sustained load without the electronics pulling power back for protection, and the company frames the system as a way to unlock the five-cylinder’s full potential before the engine goes out of production. The IWI system is activated through the myABT app, which integrates with Apple CarPlay, and top speed is 186 mph (300 km/h).

The chassis gets ABT coilover sport suspension with individually adjustable compression and rebound damping plus front and rear sport stabilizer bars, and the car rides on 20-inch ABT HIGH PERFORMANCE HR20 forged wheels in satin gold, a nod to the anniversary Trilogy theme, wrapped in 245/30R20 tires. Outside, a gloss black carbon fiber aero package adds a front spoiler and blades carrying the RS3 630 logo, a matching rear skirt insert, and dual matte black 95-millimeter exhaust tips. Inside are custom-finished front seats and armrest, RS3 630 door sills with entry lighting, embroidered floor mats, an ABT start-stop switch cover, and a 1 of 30 emblem on the dashboard.

The package is priced at 58,000 euros including 19 percent German VAT (roughly $67,000 at current exchange rates), plus 9,500 euros in installation costs and the TÜV inspection. As a European tuner package built around German homologation, it’s very unlikely the RS3 630 will be offered in the United States. ABT says the third anniversary edition will follow in the coming weeks.
