Just Fine

Ah the Toyota Supra. One of those cars that everyone wants but very few has. Coming twin turbocharged from the factory with bodylines still admired today, it’s hard to argue against the Supra’s beauty and completeness as a sports car. Those fortunate enough to own a Supra have undoubtedly held on to it for many years. And like many of us, it’s hard to blame the owners on getting bored with their car and heading down the customization path.

This Supra has gone down the path consisting of small modifications to keep the car clean but fully functional. The majority of its modifications lie underneath the hood with a Garrett GT42-76 turbo upgrade taking center stage. Additional turbo component upgrades include a 40mm TiAl wastegate, 4-inch front mount intercooler, HKS blow off valve and Greddy Profec-B boost controller. Additional fuel has been dumped into the system with 1000cc injectors, APR fuel pressure regulator and Titan fuel rail. 272 Brian Crower camshafts have replaced the stock pieces and a 150-shot of nitrous has been added to the entire package. It’s without a doubt in our minds that this Supra is tons of fun to drive.

n the exterior, the car has been lowered with Eibach Springs and GAB struts. Up front are 18×10 CCW Classic wheels while the rear sports a much wider and slightly smaller 17×11.5 combination. Sparco seats on the interior have been custom fitted with monitors and a Kenwood Double DIN head unit provides the entertainment.

Extremely simple but extremely functional, this Supra is a fantastic example of freshening up a beauty of a car without destroying its stock appeal.
