HybridKOOP

The Honda Civic. It’s a favorite among tuners. In fact, more people have bought and tuned ‘Vics than probably just about any other car on the market. Whether it’s a hatch, sedan, or coupe.no 2 ‘Vics are ever exactly the same. Unless maybe the same person built 2, then maybe we could see it.

Mr. Brian Hibbs brings us this black beauty. It’s a simple Civic with very little body modification. What these car does have is a motor swap from it’s grown up cousin, the Integra Type-R. It’s also rockin’ DC Sports headers with a 2.5″ Apexi exhaust set-up. The car’s stopping power comes from an Omni Power big brake kit with 4 piston calipers.

The exterior of this car is just clean. It’s not too often we see a Civic that’s not overdone. I sometimes think a simple Civic could be considered a dying breed. So when I see a car like this it helps remind me they’re not extinct yet. From the carbon fiber hood, to VIS carbon fiber lip, this car is just what we like to see. The right kind of accents to set the car off. And who could miss the 17″ Rota Circuit 10s? They’re wrapped in BF Goodrich drag radials in the front and Nitto Neo Gens in the rear. Nice to see a car that actually finds itself at the track. This is definitely one owner who knows why cars were made. Of course, that’s just our opinion…

And the interior of this car is just as simple and clean as the exteior. Seats and steering wheel from a ‘Teg Type-R. We like the carbon fiber custom work and the XM Commander unit; definitely a necessity for any street car. Head on down and take a look at the pictures of this Civic. It’s clean and simple. And that’s just the way we like it.
