Spring Carlisle 2009

Spring Carlisle Rockets off the Starting Line with a Bang and the Tjin Edition Tour presented by GlowShift Gauges was dead center in the middle of all the madness.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike and Interstate-81, the two main tributaries to the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds are currently backed up for miles with eager attendees traveling from near and far to attend Spring Carlisle.

Despite economic uncertainty, this event set all sorts of attendance records. The Spring Carlisle event was off the hook and the fact that all of 8,100 vending spaces offered for swap meet and car corral vendors were sold out are telling signs of success for the 32nd year of the event.

The Tjin Edition Tour and GlowShift Gauge combined for a massive 100×30 booth located prime and center in the midway and they had one of the most impressive collection of rides in one area that we have ever seen.

Making its East Coast debut was the Tjin Edition Pontiac G8 GT which was parked next to their Chevy Cobalt SS and Nissan Skyline R34 Sedan.

Also in the booth was a gorgeous right hand drive Mitsubishi FTO, a Vortech supercharged Ford Mustang, and twin Dodge Challengers.

It is really exciting! It just shows how passionate people in the collector car hobby are and that they will come out to enjoy a great event no matter what the circumstances are.”
