Techartin’ in Style

The Porsche name carries more prestige than some can ever imagine. With its announcement earlier this year, curiosity and desire for the new Porsche to hit the streets was already heavily anticipated. Shoreline Motoring specializes in many high end vehicles and knew they would have to get their hands on one of the first 997’s. Going above and beyond however, they decided to receive the first Techart 997 Cabriolet, sporting a convertible top and 20″ wheels doused in a satin black finish.

With over 350bhp available out of the 3.8L flat-six motor, the new 997 Cabriolet is without a doubt a ton of fun to drive. Match that up with the sporty elegant styling of Techart and you have yourself one hell of a street car. The front apron piece not only visually enhances the sight of the vehicle, but reduces aerodynamic lift as well. The side sills help give the convertible a longer, sleeker look.

On all four corners of this brand new 997 convertible is a set of 20×8.5 and 20×11 Techart Formula light weight alloy wheels. Shoreline decided to set it off with a satin black finish on each piece. Without question the 997 now sits a lot more comfortable thanks to Techart suspension components as well.

Considering that this is one of the first Techart 997 Cabriolet’s (if not the first) out on the market, Shoreline has already made a statement by setting it off nicely with a few little amenities of its own. There’s plenty more to come however, so stay tuned and we’ll be the first to deliver more updates!
