Formula D returned to Irwindale Speedway for its final event of 2008 where a champion would be crowned. When the smoke cleared Tanner Foust was awarded with his second championship crown making him a back to back Formula D champion. But the spotlight wasn’t only on him, as Vaughn Gittin JR continued to show his expertise at dominating the competition at Irwindale Speedway by taking the event win.
