Earlier this week we did a feature on Stage 6’s Turbo Honda Civic EG drag racer entry and this time around we take a look at their all motor K-series car. On the outside, the car is more subtle in appearance since it’s not sporting a three-piece front end, but the rest of the style remains consistent with its “twin” Civic. Pushing out 263 whp and 210 wtq, the K24A2 boasts a stock block equipped with Eibach valve springs and retainers. Power is pushed to the max thanks to Brian Crower stage 2 camshafts. Bolt-ons include a DTR small-tube header, Stage 6 Motorsports intake manifold and intake box. Some clever custom fabrication was done that really shows off what Stage 6 can do.
Suspension wise, the car aggressively deals with traction issues thanks to a set of Skunk2 Drag sleeveovers with KYB AGX struts. 23-inch slicks on 14-inch Welds are bolted on each corner sporting a similar paint scheme as its brethren Civic. Styling is consistent with the turbo EG with a Spoon Sports-style carbon fiber spoiler, custom blue/green Chameleon paint and all the windows replaced with lexan. The interior is simple with a set of gauges and a Sparco seat.
Make sure to check out both of Stage 6’s badass Civic EGs at the upcoming NSCRA event on July 5th, 2009.
