It seems like only yesterday that the huge DSM vs. Honda feud took the sport compact scene by storm. It’s almost a shame how few 2G Eclipses we see roaming the streets now boosting the 4G63 motor. When tunerZine spotted this ridiculously clean Eclipse we needed to see what all was done to it and toss it in front of a camera so everyone else could enjoy.
As boost happy as the stock 4G63 motor was, this Eclipse received an AGP turbo upgrade and intercooler kit. 660 Denso injectors fulfill its need for more fuel while an APEX’i AFC2 and APEX’i ITC keeps things tuned. The GReddy Profec B supplies plenty more boost than stock, and the Type-R blow off valve makes it known to the public. Exhaust rumble has been completely overhauled thanks to a JIC Magic exhaust system.

Up on the inside, the stock seats were placed with Bride units along with Sabelt 5 point harnesses. The driver’s left hand can be seen on a Sparco steering wheel while its right hand rests on a B&M short shifter topped with a Cyber Speed shift knob.
Suspension duties have been taken over by JIC Magic coilovers along with Rod Millen sway bars, RRE strut bars and a Tanabe lower tie bar. The exterior also received a goodie from Rod Millen in the form of a front lip. A Top Secret GT wing gives the rear of the car some character along with the taillight set from Japan. Extremely nice Advan RG wheels finishes off the entire package as this Eclipse is one of the cleaner DSMs left on the streets.
