Sometimes, you just gotta get down and dirty. There was no easy plucking of a shiny S2K off the showroom floor for Omar. No, this S2K has come a long way since it’s rescue at a Texas auction due to theft recovery. We’re sure Omar knew he had his work cut out for him when he purchased his Honda, but for a mere 14k who can complain? The was body still in tact and missing headlights, seats and other items would prove to be mere stepping stones in what would soon become this genuine eye catcher.
The first thing Omar set his sights on after replacing these miscellaneous missing parts were some 18″ Volk GTP Wheels. But they would not grace the likes of this car for too long. The Volks were eventually replaced by a set of BBS LM wheels, joined with Eibach springs to give this rear wheel drive beauty an aggressive stance. Cusco chassis reinforcements, lower tie bar and Spoon cross bar help carry this high revvin’ ballerina gracefully around the turns. A wise choice on Omar’s behalf, as we all know these items can really make a car designed for the curves shine.Without some performance however, these suspension parts wouldn’t serve much purpose.

The S2K is, fortunately, endowed with a healtth 2.0L, 11:1 compression powerplant from factory. That’s just fine and dandy for mom and pop drivers, but Omar chose to let this baby breathe just a little bit better. With a Mugen header, Type 1 straight pipe, AEM Intake and Apex exhaust, his S2K was well on its wayto better performance. But Omar means business, and so he coupled these itemes with the likes of a polished head, Rev valves, Toda valve springs and Type C Cams. This ballet of working parts is carefully choreographed by a Greddy E-Manage fuel management system. Not to shabby, eh?
Ok, so maybe you haven’t been yanked in by the loads of go-fast toys Omar’s car boasts. We don’t see why, but you might be interested in their marriage to some tasty exterior goodies. Would ISM bring you anything less than a car that has the best of both worlds? Of course not. Subtle and clean accents such as a Mugen lip spoiler, Mugen oil cap and Mugen steering wheel will certainly draw your attention. Omar’s S2K’s exterior brags of that familiar weave in the form of a Mugen carbon fiber hood. Of course, that would never be enough, so he sprung for that oh-so-sweet Mugen hard top too. As if that wasn’t plenty eye candy for you, Omar’s car dons a bright custom yellow paint job as well.

You might want to wipe the crust from your awe-struck eyes now, this S2K as it stands before you, is a fine example of a well done clean ride. Omar obviously had some serious goals in mind when he embarked on this project. With entries in shows such as HIN Miami, HIN Orlando, F&F Series and Import Revolution under his belt, we’re well aware Omar means business. This S2K has been brought together in beautifully indeed, and we’re sure it’s journey is not yet over.
Shout outs:
Thank to Leo from Team V for the best paint job ever!
