From 1994 to 2001 the Acura Integra dominated the scene. With its potent B18 motor and stylish figure, the Integra was one of the most popular modd’ed vehicles and still is to this date. When Acura announced that they would be discontinuing the Integra, enthusiasts worldwide were curious what they were replacing several years of success with. Introducing the new RSX and their K series engine in 2002, Acura had a huge reputation to live up to; the RSX followed the foot steps of the Integra quite well.
Hailing from Ottawa Canada, this silver RSX owned by Vincent Chu is a simple way of showing what the RSX is all about. On the outside, Vincent changed the subtle styling of the RSX with a genuine C-West full body kit. From the front bumper to the rear, the RSX takes on a new, more aggressive look that almost seems fitting for factory. Dropped on H&R springs, the lowered stance of the RSX is balanced off with 18″ Rays G-Games Wolf 77 series wheels on all four corners. Complementing the silvery shade of the RSX’s exterior, the dark gunmetallic G-Games offset the cars in more ways than one. Wrapped in Falken GB-R rubber, this RSX gets grip when needed.
Performance wise, this RSX is still in its infantile stages. An Injen cold air intake frees up the K series’ breathing space, making way for a solid foundation for the upcoming mods. Vincent is keeping it all under wraps, but be confident that tunerZine.com will have an updated look when it’s all done. Last but not least, KVR brakes replace the stock units, as well as a Revo short shifter to make daily driving a little more of a snap.
Overall, there are a few more little amenities throughout the RSX. The stock valve cover has been swapped out for a JDM one, as well as HID’s integrated into the headlights. Vincent also has some ICE in his RSX since this is his daily driver.
