Without a doubt, Hondas have been becoming more and more popular by the day. Knowing this, it is hard to have one that is completely different to any other. This is where the exceptionally well done 2000 Civic Si comes into play. No matter what you are into with the whole import scene, or even domestic, you cant help but stare at this car as it goes by. It screams beauty and style…and it has some power to back up those sexy looks.
Looking at the car the most obvious part you will drool over are the 17″ Volk Racing Gramlight Pros. Perfectly sitting on some rubber and tucked into the wheel wells using Ground Control coilovers and KYB shocks. As you finally start to notice the rest of the car, you walk around and notice the real Mugen lip tightly fitted on the front bumper, and the OEM CTR headlights staring you down. To the naked eye, you brush off the radiator looking Spearco frontmount intercooler, and peak under the hood to discover a whole turbo set up. Pieced together with a T3/T04e trim turbo with .63 AR and .54 cold side turbo attatched to a Drag manifold down to a 2.5″ Drag downpipe going under the car to a complete 3″ straight pipe and out of a Thermal full stainless exhaust. Looking back inside you also notice the Tial 35mm wastegate, the shiny polished intercooler piping and an HKS blow off valve sitting on top.

Moving around to the inside of the car, the Red Recaro Speed seats glow in your eyes. With the drivers side equipped with a Takata MPH340R harness. Around the interior are the various gauges like the APexi AVCR boost controller, Apexi turbo timer, Autometer boost guage and a/F guage. Going back to the trunk you find a beautiful Mugen rear strut bar keeping the back end stiff.
Overall this car is a complete package. It took three different days to capture the beauty of it so the world can see it. Tim did a beautiful job with this car, and it has and will impact the tuner scene in a big way.
