As many of you have been following, Enjuku Racing’s newest addition to the team is a freshly built S13 coupe sporting an S14 front end. We got the first glance at the brand new car before it made its way into the season and we’re here to deliver it to all you guys. Along with the S14 front end conversion on the S13 coupe, an Origin body kit along with Seibon’s lightweight carbon fiber hood and trunk were installed. All the exterior body work and paint was done by Collision Station.
Underneath the hood is a traditional Enjuku Racing / ER Motorsports built SR20DET motor. A fully custom built intercooler was implemented on this car along with a custom turbo kit powered with a Precision turbo. Much of the fabrication and custom work was specifically designed for this vehicle, building off all the experience and knowledge gained from campaigning the full 2005 season.

Doing duty as brakes for the 2006 season, Enjuku Racing’s S13.4 has been enhanced with Wilwood’s piston billet Dyna-Lites on all four corners. The entire brake system has also been overhauled with custom fabricated pieces to meet their drifting needs and demands. The suspension system was also overhauled now utilizing Stance coilovers and Peak Performance suspension goods. Cooper Tires now wrap whatever wheels are stepping up for the abuse, giving Enjuku Racing a brand new tire sponsor for the 2006 season.
Getting the extra power to the ground through a more reliable transmission this year is a Mazworx Z32 transmission adapter. SPEC Clutch has once again signed on ensuring that all the power gets to the ground consistently and reliably throughout the season. Driveshaft Shop axles and driveshaft round off all the drive train modifications for Matt Back’s new toy.

In the interior, a beautiful Mazworx roll cage was fabricated to accommodate the Sparco EVO seats. Since this SR20DET power plant is tuned by an AEM EMS system, it was only fitting that AEM gauges were tossed into the custom gauge cluster.
Keep an eye out as this car gets dialed in with Matt behind the wheel. We’ll have plenty more surprises from this team as the Formula D season goes on – that’s for sure!
