BMW has always been a symbol of a distinguished individual with a level of sophistication few people actually achieve. So when this E46 M3 was brought to our attention, we were more than happy to feature it in the pages of our e-zine. The BMW E46 M3 has always been a car that looks good whether it’s stock or not. However, with some minor modifications, a person can take it up a few levels. And that’s the case with this CSL inspired Bimmer.
This M3 is all about simple. The exterior, interior, and even the modifications under the hood aren’t extensive, but they help set this M3 apart from the rest of the crowd. However, a person doesn’t have to go crazy with modifications to make an E46 M3 look nice. And from the pictures below, I think most people would agree with me.

The exterior is the area where the theme of simplicity begins. It sports a CSL front bumper, carbon fiber sides, mirrors, and grills. The rear features an ACS diffuser with an ACS rear spoiler. A Vorsteiner GTR hood adds an aggressive look that helps accentuate the CSL front bumper. And that’s about it for the exterior body modifications. So how does this car roll?
With H&R coilovers and Ground Control sway bars installed on the M3, these suspension goods add support to the car as it goes from around curves to riding along the street. A pair of ACS strut bars in both the front and rear help stiffen the M3’s chassis, making it take corners even smoother. While BBS wheels aren’t always the most popular wheels on Bimmers that often, these BBS RGR wheels definitely help this M3 stand out from the rest. The AP Racing big brake kit and Goodridge stainless steel brake lines help the BMW stop on a dime and give the owner nine cents in change.
The I.C.E. set up is probably the area where simplicity was thrown out the window. With three Alpine in-dash screens, a Playstation 2, and a 6-disc DVD player, a person can watch a movie, play a game, or just sit back and enjoy the music. This is definitely one nice interior. I can see bringing along a group of my closest friends to car shows and just chillin’ in the car watching movies. After all, isn’t that what car shows are for? So sit back and enjoy a simple BMW M3 with pictures taken by Lewis Fan.
