In our search for something more presentable as a daily driven street vehicle, we had our good friend Brian “Boo” Hibbs run into this STi. An extremely simple package on the outside and under the hood, this STi is just in its infant stage as the owner has preparations to do plenty more modifications to it. We wanted to grab some snaps in its early stage so that hopefully we can catch up with him when he’s complete with the project.
Starting with the exterior, the STi has already been repainted with an Aspen White paint job with extra coats of clear. A Seibon S203 lip accents the front while the stock STi sides were replaced with WRX side skirts. Out the rear, a set of JDM 05 rear aprons were tagged on prior to paint. Carbon fiber goods come from a Syms wing and APR carbon fiber bumper garnishes.

The AWD wonder can now hug the corners a little tighter thanks to a set of Prodrive Springs and wider 17×8.5-inch Volk Racing TE37 wheels. Contrasting the bright white exterior of the STi, the Volk TE37s came in their traditional gunmetallic finish.
Under the hood, the turbocharged motor has received some extra power thanks to some goods from Injen. A wrinkle red intake along with Injen’s SES downpipe leads out to a 3-inch exhaust system from Agency Power. Decked out in titanium, Agency Power’s cat-back exhaust was exactly what this STi needed. Accenting the engine bay is an ARC pulley cover and Titan hood panel. Tuning the car right now is a Cobb Accessport containing a stock Cobb Stage 2 map.
Like we mentioned, this car is really in its early stages but the its owner is already showing a lot of promise for the direction it is going. We will definitely be catching up once the next set of modifications are on!
