A few months ago we got word that Neil Tjin and the Tjin Edition staff were awarded one of eight General Motors Chevy Camaro's for the 2009 SEMA Show.

Since then we haven't heard much about the latest Tjin Edition project, however, earlier today we got an email from Neil Tjin with an update.

The Tjin Edition staff received their brand new Chevy Camaro SS less then two and a half weeks ago and since then the car has already been on they dyno, completely stripped inside and out, the LS3 motor has been pulled and dropped off at the engine builder, and the exterior of the Camaro has been prepped for paint.

Even though the Tjin Edition staff has been keeping this Camaro project on the down low this summer, they did share with us a video of their Camaro on the dyno before the LS3 motor was pulled and another video of the Real AutoWorks body guys prepping the body for its custom paint job.

Neil did inform us that their Camaro's LS3 motor will be upgraded with goodies from JE Pistons, K1-Technologies, Vortech, MagnaFlow, American Racing Headers, BDL Industries, BeCool, Nitrous Express and S.P.E.C.

Besides the custom exterior, interior features include GlowShift gauges, Status Racing seats, an Azentek Smart Mirror, and Realm Audio, which will be handled by Real AutoWorks. Also keep an eye out for the custom three-piece iForged wheels that will be matched up to Falken FK452 tires, the custom SSBC big brakes, and fully digital Air Lift suspension.

Stay tuned as Neil will continue to update us with photos and videos of their Camaro build as we get closer to SEMA, where the Tjin Edition Camaro will be debuting in the Air Lift booth (#23633).
