Located on the southern edge of Riverside County, California, Exotic Engine Development in Murrieta is home to some of the most powerful and highly tuned motors in the world. Its owner, Kevin Singleton, has a long history of building and maintaining racing engines for Toyota’s factory race teams, ranging from Baja Buggies to Le Mans racers. He gradually moved over to specializing in V10 Viper engines, rebuilding from the ground up to handle ridiculous amounts of horsepower. Among his current projects is to build a Viper engine up to 1000 horsepower without forced induction. This engine may very well go into the Dodge Challenger shell that sits atop the lift in the garage, which is already undergoing major modifications in order to handle its new heart and soul. His other projects goes back to his Toyota and import roots, with Brian Stevens’ Scion xA awaiting a Toyota MR2 turbo engine transplant (which he plans to take to the drag strip) and a Subaru Impreza WRX that has a built motor from the ground up, not following any previously established modification paths.
Kevin receives customers from all over the world, including Germany, Switzerland, Australia, and Japan. His company is renowned for building some of the best, strongest lasting engines imaginable. If you have the money and want to leave no stone unturned for ultimate power goals, it would be hard to pass up Exotic Engines as your motor builder.
