Nissan enthusiasts nationwide have one big gripe - America does not have an S15. Sure, a few years ago many of them hated the fact that we didn’t have the coveted SR20DET motor, but most of them have taken care of that problem. Chris and All Version Motoring have been building insane Hondas for many years now. Noticing a huge incline in the SR20DET and Nissan market, All Version and Chris wanted to show their expertise in that as well. Starting off with an S14 chassis, Chris loved the front end headlights of the Silvia S15 - who doesn’t? - So the first thing on the list was a front end conversion.

Swapping out the stock fenders, hood, bumper and headlights, Chris tossed the S14 goods and assembled the S15 onto the chassis. Once the new Silvia S15 headlights were secured, Chris installed a full Version Select body kit. A carbon fiber S15 hood was also easier to find than a stock piece, giving the chassis a finishing touch. With the bright white shade of the car already grabbing attention, Chris and All Version decided to mock up a crazy vinyl graphic scheme for the car. In addition to the graphics, a rare set of 18x8.0 and 18x9.0 Wedsports RS-5SS gold wheels were fitted onto the car. Wrapped with none other than Falken Azenis tires, the exterior of the S14.5 was complete with the addition of a TEIN FLEX coilover kit, equipped with EDFC. Finally, the task of bringing the other half of Japan’s finest was on hand.
Tossing out the stock KA motor has become an easy task for the experts at All Version Motoring. Installing the SR20DET has become just as mundane as this S14.5 began to breathe a whole new life. Filling the gaping front bumper is a GReddy VSPL intercooler. On the exhaust side is a GReddy downpipe and an APEXi GT SPEC exhaust system. An HKS Super Sequential Blow off Valve relieves any excess pressure. For additional torque and higher rpm horsepower, a GReddy intake plenum was bolted on. Finishing performance touches comes in the form of a GReddy pulley kit and Koyo aluminum radiator.

On the interior is a series of GReddy gauges and a Nardi steering wheel. This is just the beginning of All Version and Chris’s S14.5 build up project, but it’s already one that grabs the attention of all the locals. If we can’t get it ourselves, we’ll just have to build it - just another sign of the persistence our sport compact market will always have.
