Looking forward to 2009, the Tjin Edition Crew is always up to newer, bigger and better things. As they get ready to go on tour this season, they have a little surprise for everyone. The Tjin Edition Solstice has found a new home and will be shown by Martin Scott from the GM Roadster Club. Before the car was shipped out to Martin in Phoenix Arizona, Neil Tjin decided to do some light revamps to the Tjin Edition Solstice to give it a whole new look and feel for its new owner.

Even though one of their more popular project vehicles, their Pontiac Solstice, has already graced the pages of Tunerzine.com and we are more than fortunate enough to get exclusive photos of their updates. For 2009, the Tjin Edition crew decided to install a brand new Composite Hard Top onto their Solstice. And let us be the first ones to say it looks absolutely killer! Dave Lightner from Dlight Customs was responsible for color matching and installing the Composite Hard Top to the Tjin Edition Solstice.
The new hard top flows perfectly with the rest of the Ninja Green PPG painted exterior. The custom front bumper, rear valence and Unique Fabrication all metal rear deck lid and spoiler all accented what is now the focal point of this Solstice. And once again we can’t help but to drool over and take a close up look at the set of One Lug Wheels on the car. For those that don’t remember, these 19-inch 5-spoke OLW-1 wheels are new to the market. Featuring a custom design to hide all unwanted lugs from the exterior, One Lug Wheels are certainly the new craze.

Lighting up those 19-inch Falken Tires is an easy task now that this Solstice has been forced induced by HAHN Racecraft’s stage 2 turbo kit. The Solstice acquires its extremely aggressive stance with Eibach Springs and customized front and rear shock towers. Hiding behind the 5-spoke One Lug Wheels are a set of SSBC big-brakes.

Neil informed us that since Martin has taken over this project he has brought on some of his own personal sponsors to this project. For 2009 we can expect to see goodies from Greddy, SPEC Clutch, HKS, and Solo Performance Exhaust on this green Pontiac monster. Rumor also has it that the HAHN Racecraft stage 2 turbo kit will be upgraded with a 20G Turbo and Hi-Boost kit. Neil informed us that with these upgrades the Tjin Edition Solstice should be in the ballpark of 440hp!
Last but not least, we have to mention Tjin Edition’s sponsor, Glowshift Gauges. Glowshift not only supports Tunerzine.com, but is one of the biggest proponents in supporting the Tjin Edition Tour and helping bring these wonderful vehicles around the nation for you to see up close and person. Their 7-color boost, air/fuel and EGT gauge are seen in the cockpit of this one-of-a-kind Solstice. Status Racing / Tjin Edition Kevlar seats are extremely fashionable along with the Nardi steering wheel and Unique Fabrication 6-point cage.

We can’t wait to see what else the Tjin Edition crew may be up to this year, but stay tuned to Tunerzine.com for any updates to their project vehicles as well as their tour schedule!
