Jacksonville Area Guide
The Jacksonville metro area is often referred to as Florida's "First Coast," not only because it's situated about 25 miles from the Georgia border to the north, but its First Coast designation comes from its reputation as North Florida's hub for commerce and culture. The beaches, parks and a variety of affordable real estate options (New Homes, Previously Owned Homes), make Jacksonville a perfectly situated spot to put down roots. With the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the St. Johns River running right through center of the city, Jacksonville offers unique opportunities for boat lovers and water sports. Jacksonville is a great place to raise a family and in spite of the “big city feel” it offers “small town friendliness” where people still know their neighbors. We're a short two-hour drive to Orlando which boasts Florida attractions such as Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World.
